day 1 - The trip to England

Today our journey began. We had to gather at 2 a.m so I didn't get much of a sleep. With 3 busses full of excited people we drove all the way to France where we took the boat to arrive at England. This took around 8 hours. Afterwards we still had to drive for 5 hours to Swansea City. I slept a lot, listened to music and talked with the people who were in my bus, namely Patrick, Michel, Grandpa Noor, Fenna, Nena and Elysa. After the boat trip we still had to drive for 4 hours to our Hotel in Swansea City. When we arrived, we got to take a short look at our hotel room which I shared with Fenna and afterwards we had to get ready for our first time working in the clubshop. When we arrived, the owner of the shop gave us some instructions on how we were supposed to work in the clubshop. Our task was to help the customers around and answer their questions for example where something was placed or to get an other size if they were out of stock in the shop. It was funny to hear all the different accents throughout England. Af first it was a bit difficult sometimes to have a whole conversation with the English people with such an accent but after a while I got used to it and it got a lot easier. After working for 4 hours in the clubshshop, Fenna and I went back to our hotel. We had some time to dress up and get ready for diner at an Italian restaurant and afterwards we went bowling with the whole group. Fenna and I had to take care of the drinks and make sure everybody was in the right team.
When we got back at our hotel, Fenna and I got to sleep very fast because we were so tired.
